BRANDING | VISUAL DESIGN | UI/UX

Embark is a canine genomics and biotechnology company that offers dog DNA testing services to consumers, breeders, and veterinarians. Embark rebranded and I supported current and new asset creations. I was also responsible for implementing the overall company branding aesthetic, including marketing collateral for both digital and print.

Creative Process

There are many people behind the scenes when it comes to making decision at Embark, and this is especially true when it comes to any design work being processed. Here are some of the tools we used in order to keep us in line and on time when it came to delivering our work.

Team Management

We communicated mostly through Slack and Google Meet.

Time Management

Time management tools we used included Trello, Asana and Sketch to share files.

Market Research

We gathered information based on past sales, current trends and our  competition in the market.

The Embark way

Embark’s test was developed by veterinarians in partnership with Cornell University. It can sniff out breeds that make up as little as 5% of your dog’s overall DNA breed mix. And it delivers the most accurate results and is the highest-rated dog DNA test.*

Print

Mailers

Quarterly mailers were sent to breeders in the industry, and those associated with The West Minister Kennel Club Dog, Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, and the NIH.

Card Designs

Specialty cards, discount flyers were designed for promotions.

Packaging Design

The Breeders department needed product box designs for their new copartnership with the Kennel Club.
