Hi, I’m Ximena (/Hee/-/meh/-/nah/).

Over the course of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects that span from film, music, graphic design, branding, motion graphics, and UI/UX design. Whether hired as an independent contractor or through companies that I have worked for, I’ve contributed to developing visual identities, creating engaging motion content, and designed intuitive user centered interfaces that enhance every user experience. Each project has allowed me to combine creative storytelling with strategic design, delivering impactful solutions tailored to meet very diverse goals for each clients needs.

Most recently, as a Lead UX Designer and Manager, I built and mentored a high-performing team of designers, led structured design critiques, and upheld a high bar for craft and consistency across a complex feature set. My work included leading large-scale, enterprise initiatives such as U.S. Bank and Corporate Connect, where I navigated stakeholder-heavy environments, aligned cross-functional teams, and drove experience decisions across deeply integrated financial systems. I focus not only on delivering strong user experiences, but also on strengthening team processes, design operations, and cross-org collaboration to scale impact beyond individual projects.
